Though her debut album "Metropolis Suite I of IV: The Chase" came out months ago, I felt compelled to do a post on her because her talent is SO huge. In a recent artist spotlight Janelle was named one of the up and coming artists of '08. The Singer, who first appeared on Outkast's "Purple Ribbon All-Star's Compilation Got Purp? Volume 2" and the soundtrack for "Idlewild" plans to re release Suite I of Metropolis with Suite II later this year under her new label, Bad Boy. I really hope this works out for her because her music is the most original that I've had the pleasure of listening to in years.
