Danity Kane and Day26 on Tyra

Yesterday Danity Kane and Day26 made an appearance on Tyra in promotion for their new albums "Welcome to the Dollhouse" and "Day26" check out their performances. BTW, Danity Kane's album debuted at # 1 this week and sold a cool 236,000 copies, outselling their self-titled debut released in 2006. Go head y'all. Opinions anyone?

Beautiful Nightmare huh?

Hmm... As many of you already know Beyonce is working on her third album; there have also been many reports as to who she is working with and then on the type of material she is working on. Either way the new track "Beautiful Nightmare" sees Beyonce trying a newer, more edgy sound. Initially, I loved the song when I first heard it, but after a few more listens I'm not really sure if this is the route for Beyonce. The verdict is still out over here, but what do y'all think?

New Music from Solange

A new track has surfaced from Solange's new project "Solange and the Hadley Street Dreams". The first track "I Decided" is a jazzy little clap along track produced by the Neptunes, it took me some time but I am actually really feeling this song now. Still not sure about how people are going to take it though.

Wendy Williams Abuse Scandal...

According to the New York Post Shock-jock radio diva, Wendy Williams husband Kevin Hunter tried to force Williams show booker, Nicole Spence to sleep with him on several occasions. Spence, 27 also claims that Hunter, 33 has stormed into Williams WBLS broadcasting studio on several occasions violently accosting Spence and Williams. I don't believe it, and apparently, neither does Wendy, she has gone on to say "Her allegations are totally false. This bitch is out of her mind." Read the full story here. I don't know what the hell is going on but I am in utter disbelief , I used to listen to Wendy everyday before I went to college, I mean the woman practically kept me alive during high school. SMH, I think Nicole is lying, but what do you think?

No one can deny that R.Kelly is incredibly talented (as it's been stated a thousand times before), musically, but this song right here, I don't even know if its new or not but the track "I'm A Beast" is completely ridiculous. I mean , who in the hell is he referring to anyway? Whatever the case, what do you think?

Ugh! I love Gnarls Barkley, I never bought their first album but the song that I did hear, I loved, as I do their new single "Run". Cee-lo's voice is on point as is the production, this is the music that inspires, and give me the hope that their are still creative people out there making good quality music. Their album "The Odd Couple" is available via itunes, make sure to check it out. Either way, what do you think?

In a recent interview with MTV base Chris Brown speaks on his relationship status with a certain Bajan singer, referring to her as a "special friend" and saying “as a relationship standpoint I am a single guy, I am definitely single”. Either way, Chris is currently on the European leg of his tour in promotion for his sophomore album "Xclusive". Right Christopher, I believe you.

Okay Mimi, I tried to ride with you with the first single "Touch My Body" then I saw your SNL performance, and now this...what's going on Mimikins? Mimi has lost her mind, I mean she looks beautiful, no doubt about it, but this comes nowhere near the fabulosity that was the "Emancipation" cover. I could go on and on like a rolling stone, but what do you think?

I love Beyonce, really I do, but this new House of Dereon ad looks crazy as hell. She looks like a bad poser, and on top of that not many people are feeling her line, I know the people in my circle aren't really feeling any of her clothes. SMH. Either way what do you think?

I was really trying to avoid putting this mess on the web for the 150th time like all the other blogs, but this is just ridiculous. I dont understand why someone like Mariah Carey decides to sing music like this, don't get me wrong I do like the song but it just sounds so ignorant, and what's more she doesn't even sound that good, and we all know Mariah can make it rain with that voice of hers, SMH (At least she did her little butterfly-shimmy that I love). Through all the nonsense Mariah is still the queen diva and a mess all at the same time and we love her. Either way what do you think?

Halle Has a Girl!

According to The Star magazine and several other sources (lol...Dlisted) Halle Berry gave birth to a little girl this morning around 10:17, she weighed 7 lbs. and 4 ounces. I cant even express how happy I am for her right now. Congrats Halle! And please girl, for the sake of us all please don't give the child a crazy name! Oh im so happy...lol

Tocarra Goes Crazy!

Whoa! I thought Tocarra was going to hit somebody(BTW I love her, she's so fab!), apparently it all started because she been picked on for weeks, but damn! She was pissed the hell off. Either way, I've had enough of "reality" t.v. all the fights and scripted drama has really worked my nerves over. What do you think though?

Rihanna to Rerelease "Good Girl Gone Bad"?

Really Rihanna? A re release? It's weird because it hasn't even been a year since "Good Girl Gone Bad" but she's been steady promoting it like it came out yesterday for months. The new track "Take A Bow" is really weird because it's not really single-worthy or album worthy for that matter, it sounds like something that she recorded in her spare time because she was bored or something. I'm actually really disappointed because with all the fire she came with on the original release you would think she would release one of those (like "Sell Me Candy" or "Rehab"). Either way what do you think?

More Music from Day26

More new music has surfaced from Making The Band 4's Day26 self-titled debut album. The track "Don't Fight this Feeling" is produced by Brian Michael-Cox, for the most part the track serves it purpose as a love-making joint, but for some reason I still cannot get into the music that has been coming out of the guys. I like watching them on the show but when I listen to their music I find myself doing other things like shuffling papers or turning the volume down. Either way, the best part of the song is Brian's voice, Ugh! His voice is so beautiful its like an angel. lol.
Anyway what do you think?

Sorry for the lack of posting last week, I was really busy with school. Hopefully this week should be a little better and posting will be on point. Anyway, listen to this new song from Michelle Willaims who has her new project coming out sometime in '08. Stop This Car is a great R&B track, something about it seems very adult contemporary yet it also appeals to younger people. I hope this song gets some play because I believe that both Kelly and Michelle are both great artists outside of Destiny's Child too, despite what people say. We'll see, but what do you think

Though it took me a long while to listen to her sophomore album "Just Like You" when I did I fell in love with several of the tracks like "Didn't I Tell You" feat Too Short and "Give Me More", and several others. I think its because I'm not really a big fan of Keyshia's, something about her puts me off, who knows? Either way, the singer is set to release the fourth single from her album "Heaven Sent" which is hands down the best song on her album and will most definitely become a summer anthem.

Can i just say that I love it and I am eagerly anticipating to hear what else she has up her sleeve's this time around. I also really enjoy the ticking clock theme that she's had since her last album "Confessions on A Dance Floor".
